- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and send you a quote
- To keep a record of the work we have quoted for or carried out
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it
We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Legal basis
We process enquiry details on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to a request you have made) and, where a job goes ahead, to perform our contract with you. Analytics is used on the basis of consent where required.
Who we share it with
- WAT Websites, who build and maintain this website and handle enquiry notifications on our behalf
- Our email and hosting providers (Resend for email, Vercel for hosting, Neon for the enquiry database)
- Google Analytics, where analytics is active
Each of these acts as a processor on our instructions. We do not share your details with anyone else unless we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years to meet accounting and warranty obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it.
